What is GloBird ZEROHERO?
ZEROHERO is a GloBird Energy retail plan built specifically for homes with a battery. Instead of a flat tariff, it rewards the things a battery does naturally — covering the evening peak, charging cheaply in the middle of the day, and exporting stored energy when it's worth the most. For a customer who's just had a battery installed, switching plans can add to their savings without any extra hardware.
Because the value comes from how a battery is used, ZEROHERO only makes sense once storage is on site — which is exactly the moment you're already talking to the customer.
Turn it on — per quote or by default
On any battery job, you'll see the GloBird ZEROHERO toggle in the design tool's battery section and on the Incentives tab. Switch it on and Solar Proof does the rest. If ZEROHERO is part of your standard pitch, you can set it to be on by default for battery jobs in your company settings, so it's there on every relevant quote without thinking about it.
Show a bigger saving on the proposal
With ZEROHERO enabled, Solar Proof estimates the extra annual benefit the customer gets from the plan — the peak-period credit, the boosted evening feed-in and the Super Export Credit — based on the battery you've designed. That figure flows through to the quote alongside the system, so the customer sees a more complete, more compelling picture of what their battery is worth over time.
The estimate is indicative and built on GloBird's published plan mechanics; always point the customer to GloBird's current rates and terms for the exact numbers.
Refer the customer in one tap — and earn $100
When the customer's ready, Solar Proof generates a pre-filled ZEROHERO sign-up link for them. Each successful sign-up earns a $100 referral. You decide who it's paid to — the rep who did the job, or the company — in your GloBird settings, so it fits how your business shares commissions.
Let the follow-up run itself
Most ZEROHERO sign-ups happen after the battery's in, not on the day you quote. So Solar Proof handles the nudge for you: a set number of days after the install date, it reminds the customer to switch by SMS and email, with opt-out handled automatically. Customers who've already signed up get a softer "you're set" message instead. No spreadsheets, no chasing.
Track every referral to payout
The referral console gives you one place to follow each referral from the moment the link is clicked through to a confirmed sign-up and payout, reconciled against GloBird's confirmation report. You can always see what's in progress and what you're owed.
Where it's available
ZEROHERO is offered in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and parts of south-east Queensland, and requires a home battery. Solar Proof checks the site's state so the option only appears where it's relevant.

Open a battery project, switch on GloBird ZEROHERO, and check your company GloBird settings to set the default behaviour and payout preference. From there it's part of every battery quote you build — a better proposal for the customer and a new revenue line for you.
